ADC Chieftain Nuhu Angbazo Unveils Slogan To Unite Nasarawa *** Ahead of
The 2027 general elections, a gubernatorial aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nasarawa State, Prince Nuhu Angbazo, has unveiled a slogan to unite the people of the state for a common goal.
Angbazo, a retired Major-General of the Nigerian Army, unveiled the slogan: ‘One Nasarawa One People,’ in a statement issued through his Chief of Staff, Gaza Mark Auta.
He noted that the state, created in 1996, is a home to many tongues, many faiths, and histories, but one destiny.
According to the statement, the slogan was chosen because the soul of Nasarawa is larger than “our differences”.
He explained that division weakens and unity builds nations, hence the slogan, as building Nasarawa is a collective responsibility.
“One Nasarawa, One People is not a slogan of convenience; it is a statement of resolve. It means no tribe is superior, no religion is excluded, no community is forgotten, and no citizen is second-class. It affirms that our diversity is not our weakness, but our strength.
“This slogan speaks to the farmer and the civil servant, the youth and the elder, the Christian, the Muslim, and the traditional believer, the indigene and the long-settled resident. It says Nasarawa belongs to all of us, and together, we must build it.
“At a time when voices seek to divide us for personal gain, we choose unity. At a time when fear is used as a tool, we choose trust. At a time when politics is reduced to identity, we choose common purpose. One Nasarawa, One People is a call to rise above bitterness, a call to heal old wounds, and a call to think beyond ourselves and invest in the future of our children.
“This is not just a campaign slogan; it is a movement, a philosophy of governance, and a promise of leadership. A Nasarawa where leadership listens, peace is protected, and progress is shared. Together, we stand, together we build, and together we move forward,” the statement explained further.
