Solomon Akwashiki, A Godsent And Blessing To Lafia Central

If you combine the performances of the last six House of Assembly members Lafia Central constituency have had and compare them with just two years of Solomon Akwashiki’s outstanding service, the difference is still very clear. His record speaks for itself. Ironically, many of those who now go from place to place criticizing him, insulting his personality, and calling him names are the same people who only recently praised and applauded his efforts. Yet, despite the noise, his focus and commitment to service remain unwavering.

His persistent efforts toward establishing the Lafia General Hospital, by the special grace of God, expected to become a reality by 2026 - alone stand as a landmark achievement. Beyond that, he has facilitated over 80 pensionable appointments for our people, provided critical social amenities, organized medical outreaches, supported students with scholarships, and consistently extended gestures of goodwill to the people, including some who now abuse him on social media.

These are just a few among the many interventions he continues to deliver selflessly. Silence and resilience are virtues, and in time they will surely pay off. God will judge those who claim to love Lafia yet have not contributed in any meaningful way to the development of Lafia Local Government. Indeed, power belongs to God alone. He does not seek permission or advice from anyone before placing the mantle of leadership upon His servants, whether Christian or Muslim. We will continue to tell the people that you are God-sent and truly a blessing to Lafia.

We pray that God, in His infinite mercy, continues to guide and protect you, and grants us success in 2027 for the greater good of Lafia Central and Nasarawa State as a whole.
