Gaza Pledges N100m for Scientific Labs, Cultural Preservation at MDA Fundraiser











Abuja, Nigeria - Rt. Hon. Jonathan Gaza Gbefwi, Member Representing Karu, Keffi, and Kokona Federal Constituency and SDP gubernatorial aspirant in Nasarawa State, has pledged N100 million budgetary support for scientific laboratories in Mada land.


Gbefwi made the commitment at a fundraising dinner organized by the Youth Wing of Mada Development Association (MDA) in Akwanga LGA. He also advocated for the construction of a Mada Cultural Hall to preserve the history, values, and traditions of the Mada people and other indigenous tribes in Nasarawa State.


The lawmaker charged Mada nation and Nasarawa citizens to promote, preserve, and integrate their culture to sustain identities and enhance unity. He observed a minute silence in honour of victims of the recent Eggon Carnival tragedy.


Gbefwi expressed gratitude to Mada Nation for their support in his electoral successes and sought their backing for his 2027 governorship aspiration.
