ADC Aspirant Offers Condolences After Eggon Carnival Tragedy ***



 














Barr. Mohammed H. Abdullahi  Former Minister and ADC gubernatorial aspirant, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Eggon Nation following a devastating road accident during the 2025 Eggon Cultural Carnival procession in Nasarawa Eggon.


The December 28, 2025 incident involved three heavy-duty trucks ramming into the procession near Eggon Community Secondary School, killing four and injuring many. In a statement, Abdullahi expressed deepest sympathies to bereaved families and Nasarawa State people.


He described the tragedy as an "unimaginable nightmare" turning a moment of joy into pain, praying for the departed to rest in peace and the injured to recover. Abdullahi commended the Eggon people's resilience, urging unity and support.


The statement concluded with prayers for collective healing, saying "Nasarawa remains our shared home, and together, we shall overcome this sorrow."
