‘We Know the Bandits, We Know Their Hideouts — Stop Delaying,’ Senator Garba Tells FG

Senator Garba, representing Kebbi South, has issued a sharp criticism of the Federal Government’s handling of the country’s worsening insecurity, declaring that authorities already possess enough intelligence to either negotiate decisively or confront bandits head-on.

Speaking on the Senate floor, the lawmaker expressed frustration over what he described as unnecessary hesitation in dealing with armed groups terrorising communities across the North-West.

“We know who these bandits are, we know where they are, we know what they want. If we are going to negotiations, do it and finish it; if we are going to fight, we fight it to finish. What is the big deal? We know everything — why are we covering?”
