Nasarawa Governor Unveils 2025 House of Assembly Compendium, Showcasing 26 Years of Legislative History

Nasarawa State Governor, Engr. Abdullahi
Sule, has officially unveiled the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Compendium 2025,
a comprehensive 400-page publication documenting the evolution of the state legislature from 1999 to 2025.

The launch formed part of activities marking the second anniversary of Speaker Dr. Danladi Jatau’s tenure. The compendium captures a brief history of Nasarawa State and the State House of Assembly, complete with names, photographs, constituencies, and political affiliations of past and present members.

The publication highlights key milestones, including the inauguration of the First Assembly in 1999, and reveals that five former lawmakers have progressed to serve in the National Assembly. It also details bills passed into law, major resolutions, and profiles of principal officers who have shaped the legislative arm over the years.

Governor Sule described the compendium as a significant milestone in preserving institutional memory and celebrating the achievements of the legislature. The unveiling marks an important moment in the documentation of Nasarawa State’s democratic journey.
