NAPS congratulates IG Umar on his Elevation to the Rank of Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs (DCG) services.



















The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) has extended congratulations to IG Umar on his elevation to the rank of Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs (DCG), approved by the Nigeria Customs Service Board.

In a statement signed by Deputy Senate President, Dist. Sen. Danjuma Bulus Akolo, the organization commended Umar's loyalty, dedication, and hard work, which have contributed to enhancing policy execution, compliance management, and operational efficiency.

"We commend and celebrate your promotion, which demonstrates that your efforts have not gone unnoticed," the statement read. "Your contributions have significantly improved operations and contributed to national revenue and security."

The statement further wished Umar continued success, expressing confidence that he will excel in his new role. "May this new feat not be the end of your career but a springboard for higher position. Soon, we shall celebrate you as the CGC, sir," it added.
